The Grand Prix of Washington DC, 2002 was the first race I had seen. Totally awesome!

The sound. The Heart-pounding (literally!) rumble of the Panoz and Corvette was the perfect display of American muscle cars. The piercing whine of the Ferrari. The deafening roar of the Porsche.

The smell. That high-octane fuel smell is unmistakable, and unforgettable.

The sight. Have you ever been so close to these awesome machines that you could reach out and touch them? I was. Have you ever seen car roar past at 150+ MPH only 20 feet away? I did. Have you ever seen the Hawaiian Tropic girls up close? :)

Quite a day!

The Racer's Group

I've been a big fan of The Racer's Group ever since my first BRBS. Bill H., from Suncoast Porsche and ThaList.com, is one of the TRG sponsors, and donates great prizes for BRBS. Bob C. takes pictures for the team, and is one of the organizers for BRBS. So now I'm a fan!

The "Olive Garden" Ferrari 550. This thing sounded awesome.	The Saleen. It looks fast just sitting there.	So... Are the Yankees a sponsor, or does this Porsche just like baseball?
